What the job margin check can and cannot do
The check looks at a few of your recent jobs and what each one left after its own costs. It cannot tell you what a future job will earn, and it makes no promise about results. It shows where your numbers are solid and where they need work.
A bond, a surety or a lender that wants signed statements will go to a licensed firm for them. If that applies to you, we say so on the call and get your books and work-in-progress schedule ready for that firm.
